The team at Scenic Rim Equine Group have expansive experience in the horse industry having trained horses around the world over the last 20 years. Operated off a magnificent scenic rural property on the Beechmont plateau, we have developed services to best showcase the expansive views and stunning surrounding natural landscape. 

Pleasure rides and riding lessons are suitable for both beginners through to experienced horse riders and we have horses to suit all categories of equine enthusiasts from beginners to the advanced rider.

Our knowledgeable and experienced team have been involved in the horse industry for most of their lives and different members bring vast experience from training and competing across multiple disciplines on horses around the world for many years.

 

FAQ

    • You are required to wear enclosed shoes and long pants for the ride (boots are available to borrow) 
    • Helmets are provided. If you would like to bring your own helmet, it must comply with the AS/NZS 3838 2006 standards and within 5 years of manufacture date
    • Throughout the winter period, you will need to bring something warm as the farm is on a plateau and often cooler than the surrounding areas.

Of course! If we are not booked out, we would love to take you on a ride or give you a lesson. If the premises is unattended, please call 0418 677 467.

Riders must be aged 7 years or over. Lead line lessons available for children from 4 years old – please contact us. 

For the safety of our riders and the health of our horses, we have a safety weight restriction. Our maximum weight restriction for rides is 100kg. 

Our first ride departs at 10am with our last ride setting off at 4pm (times may vary dependent on seasons).

Minimum 24 hours’ notice is required if you are unable to attend your booking. Your ride can be rescheduled to another day within 6 months of your original booking, should sufficient warning be given (minimum 24-hours). In the event that your ride is cancelled by SREG due to unforeseen circumstances, your ride may either be transferred to another day or refunded.

We expect to ride in most conditions and appropriate clothing should be worn. Unless conditions become too slippery and unsafe, your ride or lesson will continue in wet weather. Cancellation of rides will be at the discretion of management and you will be contacted to rearrange your ride or to organize a refund.

All riders will be matched with a horse to cater for experience and confidence levels. You will participate in a short riding lesson in an enclosed arena before setting off on your ride.
